I have always wanted to be a teacher. I was always involved in our Youth Group and with any volunteer opportunity that my church was working on. Some close family friends helped me to realize how I could continue to do both teaching and sharing God’s word with others by becoming a teacher in the Lutheran Schools. I finally pursued that dream in 2008 when I attended Martin Luther College to obtain a 5 year degree with a double major in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I graduated in 2013 with a Minnesota State License for Early Childhood and Elementary Teaching. I first started teaching in Red Wing, Minnesota at St John’s Lutheran Church and School. There I was the teacher and director of the Preschool and Kindergarten for 4 years.
